If you’ve had a career in the Armed Forces, you will already have a wealth of valuable skills that employers are looking for in their candidates. However, to progress your career outside of the military, you will need to certify these skills with industry-recognised qualifications, and Enhanced Learning Credits can help you to do this.
To be eligible to receive ELC payments, you must have accrued at least six years of military service. You can earn up to three credits, the value of which will depend on the length of your service. Your credits will cover 80% of your course fees, with the remaining 20% being funded by yourself.

This unit allows the student to obtain an understanding of international freight management.
It shows the historical development of the different modes of transport in the modern global supply network. It covers the physical flows and processes required to move products and the advantages and disadvantages of each mode of transportation, along with the operational equipment used within the supply chain.
It covers the legislative requirements for each of the modes of transport when moving freight across borders. It covers the international control bodies for each mode, freight forwarding, 3PLs and strategic warehouse placement This unit will allow the learner to

- Understand the contribution of the ISO Container to International Trade
- Be able to analyse the legislative requirements for the International Movement of Freight
