The ACCPH is an independent self-regulated professional body for counsellors, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists.
What is CBT?
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but it can also be used to treat other mental and physical problems.
It is based on the concept that negative thoughts can trap you in a cycle, with its aim to break down problems into smaller parts to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way.
