Course overview
In this 1 hour course, we introduce you to building Circles of Support around disabled adults.
Circle of Support is an approach to enhancing the inclusion, in the mainstream community, of any person who is experiencing difficulties because of disability, personal crisis or because of their challenging behaviour towards others.
The ‘Community Circle’ approach works by mobilising the person’s family, peers, possible friends and wider community connections to provide support and engage in problem-solving and planning with the person in difficulty.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn from Colin and Elliot Newton.
Learn how to build teams around disabled adults. Enjoy participating in a multi-media workshop that will challenge, entertain and reach for your emotions. Circles of support are for us all, for life…. and they work!
